For the Photography Concepts: Queer Visuality, I created self portraits using scans as inspired the photographer Hudinilson Júnior. These explore an uncommon form of image-making, while working to tell my own story through the inspiration of another artist's one. I found this project helped me open my mind about the possibilities of photo-making processes, and found some aspects of my story to express within the images, especially a dual-nature I feel I have in many aspects: artist and academic, organized and messy, confident and insecure, etc.
